-Day at the Races

Get your tickets now for the Annual Day at the Races sponsored by the Charles E Curry Foundation

(formerly the Rat Pack Foundation) at the private Turf Club at Chicago’s Hawthorne Race Course, 3501 S Laramie Av, Cicero IL. This affair starts at 12:00 noon with Hawthorne’s fabulous buffet. Afterward there will be dancing, camaraderie and then 8 races where we can all try to beat the odds!

As usual, the Women’s Support Group will be major ticket sellers under the leadership of Jonquil Byers, and Irma Denton. Their theme this year is “Racing in Black and White.” Their will be a raffle and auction also.

Scholarships

Scholarships are awards to recipients and parents at the Chicago Rat Pack’s annual Christmas Celebration.  Students are eligible for $500 annual renewals for three additional years. CONGRATULATIONS to all recipients!

-Las Vegas Summit

Rat Pack members from around the country enjoy the sights, sounds and donations of Las Vegas at the annual summit in August. Some members stay for weeks, while others stay a few days. This years Summit will take place August 15-18, so get your tickets now. Our Saturday morning meeting  place will be located at the Flamingo Hilton, and our usual get together at Rat Pack West, the home of Mel and Geri Hopson.

There will be a Rat Pack Smoker this year. Watch for it!!
